The Guide Dogs for the Blind, Inc. puppy raising group in Boise, Idaho. We are made up of dog lovers of all ages who want to be a part of pairing a blind person with a dog to give them a new kind of freedom. As puppy raisers, we take in an 8 week old puppy to keep for a year and teach house manners, basic obedience, how to behave in public, and give them the self-confidence that they will need to

succeed. Our club meets once a week (every Monday except the first week of the month when we meet for First Thursday) at various locations. This gives us all a chance to ask questions, seek guidance and offer advice. Puppy raising is open to anyone who wants to be involved and we always welcome new prospective raisers to join our meetings! Visit our website for more information.

Our two ‘M’ brothers, Maximo & Miguel, celebrated recently turning 8 months old by going on an outing together! It’s always fun having littermates in the club and seeing their similarities.
