Congratulations to Chantell Williams, founder of Critical Medical Devices, for winning the Startup World Cup Regional Qualifiers!

Critical Medical Devices is tackling one of emergency medicine's biggest risks: medication errors under pressure. Their protocol-guided IV delivery system embeds standardized dosing directly into the device, reducing cognitive load for clinicians in ERs, ICUs, EMS, and critical care transport. Early validation, a defined FDA pathway, and a clear gap in the market.

We're excited to see all the progress Chantell makes with CMD as she moves onto the finals in San Francisco!

Congratulations to ALL the pitchers - we were blown away by your presentations and the solutions you've developed for wide-ranging, real-world issues.

Thank you to our judges' panel, our sponsors, and the team at JUMP for helping make this incredible event happen! We'll catch you at the next one! 🚀

Tonight! Pat Lawless is pitching Outermind at the Startup World Cup Regional Qualifiers!

Outermind deploys an autonomous AI Chief of Staff and agent workforce inside Microsoft 365, built specifically for small and mid-sized businesses drowning in email overload, operational chaos, and the high cost of executive-level staff. Unlike tools that simply assist, Outermind executes — autonomously planning projects, managing operations, and tracking goals around the clock.

“l've built a platform that can help ease the burden that families are going through and allow them to focus on what matters most, their loved one.”

After four years of caring for three different family members with dementia, Mark Niehaus knew there had to be a better way. Harnessing the power of AI, he built the platform Fortivus, designed to ease the medical, legal, and financial burden families face, so they can spend less time wrestling with decisions and more time focusing on what matters most.

Come watch Mark pitch as one of the 10 finalists for the Startup World Cup Regional Qualifiers! Next Thursday, 10 founders will take the stage at Jack's Urban Meeting Place for the chance to advance to San Francisco for the final event this fall. The award? A $1 Million investment prize.

“I was a desperate mom on a mission to fix sunscreen for my kid.”

Skin cancer is the most common cancer in America, and the most preventable. So why is sunscreen still such a mess? Bree Van Leeuwen was a mom on a mission after her daughter broke out in hives from a sunscreen that claimed to be 100% mineral (spoiler: it wasn’t). The alternatives? Pasty. Greasy. A battle with every application. So she built Daily Shade, a true mineral sunscreen that actually disappears into the skin. No fight, no residue, no compromises.

Meet Bree at the Startup World Cup Regional Qualifier this Thursday at JUMP. ☀️
