Jesse Tree spent last Tuesday and Wednesday at the Idaho Nonprofit Conference at JUMP, connecting with other local nonprofits, sharing what we're learning, and building the kind of partnerships that make this work stronger.

Thankful for a community that shows up for each other year after year.

Behind every family we help stay housed is a team that shows up for each other too.

This week, the Jesse Tree team took a break from the office for our Q3 staff retreat at Emerald Lanes, a chance to pause, celebrate our shared impact, and strengthen the connections that make our work possible while having a little fun at the bowling lanes.

Grateful for a team that brings this much heart to the work, and knows how to have fun doing it.

When Jesse Tree steps in, we ensure that stability is sustainable.

95% of families assisted remain housed five years later: proof that our case management and rental assistance programs create lasting change, not just short-term fixes.

Thank you to everyone who makes this work possible. Together, we're building a more stable Treasure Valley, one family at a time.

Behind every case is a person navigating one of the hardest moments of their life, and behind every success story is a case manager who showed up with patience, dignity, and care.

Swipe through to hear from neighbors our case managers have supported on their path to housing stability, in their own words.

This is the kind of work that doesn't always make headlines, but it changes lives every single day. Thank you to our case management team for the compassion they bring to every case.

We're excited to welcome Tess to Jesse Tree! Tess is joining our team through JVC Northwest AmeriCorps as a case manager, working directly with tenants facing housing crises and helping distribute emergency rental assistance and household goods to families who need it most.

Every new team member helps us reach more of our Ada and Canyon County neighbors facing eviction and homelessness, and we couldn't be more glad to have Tess on board.

Welcome to the team, Tess!

Housing instability doesn't stay contained to just one part of a family's life, it can follow kids straight into the classroom, disrupting the school year right when they need consistency most.

This month, Jesse Tree's Community Health program organized a back-to-school resource drive to help make sure local kids have what they need to start the year strong. A special thank you to Robin and the team at Northwest Bank for their generous donation, and to everyone who gave through our Amazon wishlist, your support made this possible.

Each month, we're reminded that meaningful impact happens because our community comes together.

Our July impact reflects the collective efforts of our staff, volunteers, donors, partners, and supporters who believe everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home.

Thank you for being part of our mission.

Last week we said thank you and goodbye to Sam, who is wrapping up a year of service with Jesse Tree through JVC AmeriCorps.

Over the course of her service year, Sam worked directly with tenants navigating housing crises, helping distribute emergency rental assistance and household goods to families who needed support the most. We're grateful to JVC AmeriCorps for partnering with organizations like ours to place dedicated people like Sam where they're needed.

Thank you for everything you've poured into this work, Sam. We wish you the best in what's next!

We're excited to welcome Mallory to Jesse Tree! Mallory is joining our team as a Grant Writer VISTA, bringing her background in Technical Writing to help us pursue the funding that supports our Emergency Rental Assistance and Eviction Court programs.

Every new team member helps us reach more of our Ada and Canyon County neighbors facing eviction and homelessness, and we couldn't be more glad to have Mallory on board.

Welcome to the team, Mallory!

This week we're saying thank you and goodbye to Maysen, who just wrapped up her legal externship with our Eviction Court program.

Over the course of her externship, Maysen worked directly alongside our Eviction Court team, sitting in on mediations and even leading a case herself. We're grateful to the University of Idaho and their externship program for making partnerships like this one possible, giving future advocates hands-on experience with housing law while giving our clients another dedicated person in their corner.

Thank you for your hard work and heart for this mission, Maysen. We wish you the best in what's next!
