Our summer sessions have officially come to a close, and we’re still riding the high from all the love, joy, and unforgettable moments shared at each camp!

Your incredible support here in the Bay has helped turn our vision for our community in Uganda into a reality. A new playground, new desks, and a new water project are all coming to life as we speak!

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this mission. Your generosity and belief in our work allow us to continue growing and making an impact year after year.

We can’t wait to share what’s in store for next year. None of this would be possible without you.

THIS IS IT!! The final fashion show of SEW-WHAT 2026 is HERE!! 🤩✨

What A Summer!!!

With 45 incredible girls, 8 amazing interns, and 2 assistant teachers, this has officially been our biggest SEW-WHAT in the last 23 years!

Together we’ve shared a summer of philanthropy, self-discovery, creativity, and most importantly….PLAY. Our girls have given their all each and every day, and it all comes together this Friday!

A huge thank you to every parent, volunteer, community member, and supporter. We truly couldn’t have done this without you.

THIS FRIDAY IN BERKELEY (DM us for the address), our girls will take the runway for their fashion showcase and close out the SEW-WHAT season with a bang!

We can’t wait to celebrate with you. 💕

We’re officially in our final week of SEW-WHAT 2026! What an amazing summer it has been. 🌞✨

These girls have poured their hearts into their craft each week, and it has been such a beautiful journey to witness. The self-discovery, the creativity, the confidence, and the community we’ve built together have been truly inspiring.

A special shoutout to our incredible alumni, who have helped make this summer such a meaningful experience for each of our girls, and to Youth Spirit Artworks for continuously opening your beautiful space to us and making camp possible.

And finally, a huge thank you to YOU—our Bayganda FAM. Your trust, support, and commitment to bringing your youth to our program year after year make all of this possible. We couldn’t do it without you.

Our Sew-What girls have been absolutely thriving this summer embracing their creativity, stepping into leadership, and being inspired by incredible women who lead.

This Friday is their showcase, where they’ll proudly share everything they’ve created with friends and family. It’s a chance to celebrate their hard work, dedication, and the confidence they’ve built throughout the summer.
