Throwback to one of the biggest Learn to Row programs in the world! 🚣‍♂️

This July, 140 adults joined East Bay Rowing Club in Oakland to learn how to row, meet new people, and experience the sport for the first time.

Seeing so many complete beginners out on the water, learning together and becoming part of the club community was incredible.

A huge congratulations to East Bay Rowing Club, the coaches, volunteers, and everyone who made the program possible. Even better, many of the participants chose to continue after the program and are now members of the club. 🙌

East Bay Rowing Club is now on CrewLAB!

The club will use CrewLAB to manage program setup, fees, registrations, and communication with athletes and families, all in one place.

“We were losing hours when setting up new programs and fees, losing 50% of our youth registrants and spending too much time helping current members troubleshoot problems within our previous platform,” the club shared.

Welcome to CrewLAB, East Bay Rowing Club!

EBRC took on Dexter Lake this weekend — 39 boats, three days, and conditions that turned downright wild on Saturday (wind, rain, rollers akin to the estuary, the works). 🌧️🚣

We came home with 5 first-place finishes:
🥇 Florencia Prada — Women’s D 1x
🥇 Men’s E 8+
🥇 Men’s B 4+
🥇 Men’s G+ 4+ (won on corrected time!)
🥇 Carlson/Burke — Women’s C Ltwt 2x

Northwest masters rowing brought the depth this year too — our women’s fields ran nearly twice as deep as the men’s, with 13 of 19 women’s entries having to win a heat just to make a final.

Congrats to every club who got on the water — especially through Saturday’s conditions. 💪

All Kit wanted for her birthday was a hard row on a beautiful morning with her novice team, and that’s exactly what she got🌹💖

We make the trip around the island of Alameda once every five years, and it takes us five years to forget the reason why we do this once every five years. Adventures were had!🌊🌊🌊

Learn to Row Summer Camp is our biggest and best summer camp yet for middle schoolers and high schoolers.

In this flexible camp, your kid will learn to row alongside other teens, all while having fun and enjoying the beauty of Oakland Estuary in a safe, supportive, and coach-led environment.

Secure one of our Early Bird spots through the link in our bio before they’re gone.

We promise your kid will love it 🚣‍♂️☀️
