Established in 1952, Open Door Mission started as a soup kitchen and homeless shelter in Oakland, California. Supported by volunteers and donations, we've provided aid to the community. Now, we're transitioning to a sustainable strategy by acquiring farmland in Northern California. Here, we'll implement regenerative agriculture and educational programs to address food insecurity and empower individuals. Guided by a diverse board, we're committed to creating a brighter future. Join us in this journey of growth, compassion, and empowerment for our community.
