the 44th Lake Garda Meeting Optimist—organized by Fraglia Vela Riva, marking one of the world’s largest and most iconic youth sailing regattas, drawing over 1,000 young sailors for four days of racing from April 2–5, 2026; set on beautiful Lake Garda and its famously steady Ora Wind.

Wrapping up an epic extended weekend at the C420 Mid-Winters in Jensen Beach, Florida today. ☀️Encinal Yacht Club proudly had 5 teams representing, each one crushing it in their own right 💥 . High fives and back-slapping hugs to podium finishers Holly Sojka and Luke Johnson for a 3rd place🥉 in Bronze fleet 💪🏽. Well sailed and so proud of Reid and Tristan in Gold fleet, Charles and Katie in Silver fleet, Gabriel and Marco, and Reuben and Cyrus — also in Bronze. We couldn’t do any of it without you Coach Diego. You’re not just a coach… you are 💯 shoulder to shoulder with our sailors’ success, so hats off hats off to you.
