Five years. One amazing Sunday.

Berkeley showed up. The line went down the sidewalk, the room was full, and we worshiped like people who know exactly how faithful God has been.

To our Dream Team: you made it feel like home before anyone walked through the door. To everyone who came back, and everyone who came for the first time: you already belong.

Here is the thing. Five years in, we are still becoming. And the best is yet to come.

See you Sunday, 10:30AM at 3201 Shattuck Ave.

For the city,
Raymond

5 Years As A Church!!!!!

10/04/2026

5 years in 60 seconds.

A call. A family. A city most people called unreachable. 32 people said yes. A pandemic, a patio and a living-room studio. A for-lease sign, an empty room and $200,000 in four weeks. On October 3, 2021, the doors opened.

Five years later, we are still becoming. Come on.

Today is our 5 Year Anniversary Sunday. 10:30AM at 3201 Shattuck Ave. There is a seat with your name on it. Bring someone who needs one too.

For the city,
Raymond

Chapter Three: Becoming.

In 2024 Eggstravaganza got rained out and Berkeley still showed up, 1,100+ strong. We gave over 5,000 Christmas gifts and started talking about owning 3201 Shattuck. In 2025 our people gave $335,000 toward Imagine More.

This year we released our first original song on Good Friday. 362 people came on Easter and 22 of them said yes to Jesus in one service. And we launched the first formal membership in our history.

Five years. 320+ salvations. 235+ baptisms. 188,000+ people loved and served. In Berkeley. Come on.

Here is the thing. We are still becoming. Tomorrow we celebrate five years together, 10:30AM at 3201 Shattuck Ave. There is a seat with your name on it.

For the city,
Raymond

Chapter Two: The Doors Open.

In January 2021, Berkeley Unified named us one of their top partners. The first church ever. We still didn’t have a building.

Then we found 3201 Shattuck with a for-lease sign in the window. The night we got the keys, our kids ran across a blue carpet in an empty room. Our people gave $200,000 in four weeks. Lake Point Church came alongside us. On October 3, 2021, the doors opened.

And we kept going. 600+ neighbors at our first Eggstravaganza. We adopted John Muir Elementary. Over 1,000 Thanksgiving bags with Berkeley PD. By 2023, 1,300+ at Eggstravaganza and 6,000 Christmas gifts for Berkeley families.

Here is the thing. God gave us a room so we could love a city. Come on.

Chapter Three drops tonight at 8:30.

For the city,
Raymond
