Happy Birthday to the Navy!

Morning All,

I wanted to remind you of some upcoming events this week.

Tomorrow 10/14 will be the Auxiliary Monthly Meeting. It will begin at 1:00pm but bring your lunch and join us at noon and enjoy some social time with your fellow members. (Thank you, Cindy M, for opening up)

Thursday 10/15 the Post will be open for the Seahawks game. Come enjoy the game and support the Post.

Friday 10/16 the Cooties will be hosting their Octoberfest. They will be serving Bratwurst and other German style side dishes and desserts for $15.00. Dinner will be served at 6:00pm and there will be some raffles as well. Come support the Cooties as money raised goes to help local Veterans in Hospitals & Nursing homes.

Don't forget the Auxiliary will be collecting winter coats to donate to St. Peters Church in Kendal. If you have a warm coat to donate, please have them at the post by October 26th.

October 30th at 6:00pm is our annual chili cook off. We are also going to be doing a Costume Contest. Come and support the Auxiliary at this fun event. This is a fun event with friendly
competition and who knows you could win a prize.

The Post and Auxiliary alongside the Custer Post and Auxiliary will be wrapping gifts at Yeager’s from December 1st through December 24th. This is a fun easy way for our Post and Auxiliary to raise funds. Sign up link was sent out but let me know if you did not receive or need it again.

Thanks so much for what you do for our Veterans, and I look forward to seeing you at the Post!

Loyally,

Lori Nettles
1585 Auxiliary President
