WWU Surfrider Western Washington University Surfrider chapter aims to protect the water in Bellingham and inform the public about water samples throughout Bellingham.

WWU Surfrider Mission: Surfrider is dedicated to the protection of the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches, for water and snow recreationalists through water quality testing, education, environmental campaigns, beach cleanups, carpooling out to the coast or up to the mountains to play, and work on protecting what we love. Locally the Western Washington University Surfrider chapter aims to protect the water in Bellingham and inform the public about water samples collected throughout the city.
