KW Cares is a 501(c) (3) public charity created to support Keller Williams Realty associates and their dependent family members with hardship as a result of a sudden emergency. Hardship is defined as a difficult circumstance that a person or family cannot handle without outside help.

You are not alone during tough times. Catastrophic Hardship Grants are available to support associates navigating major medical crises, injuries related to a motor vehicle accident, or primary residence disasters.

If you're unsure whether your situation qualifies, do not assume the answer is no. Talk with your leadership team. They can submit a Request to Apply and help you understand the next steps.

Last week, KW Cares' CEO Alexia Rodriguez had the privilege of attending the 20th Anniversary Celebration of Mercy Chefs in New Orleans, along with her husband, Scott.

For years, Mercy Chefs has been a valued partner during disaster relief efforts, serving hot meals to volunteers working in the aftermath of hurricanes and other crises. Their team has supported many of our command centers, helping ensure volunteers could stay focused on serving our KW Family in need.

KW Cares has also been honored to support Mercy Chefs through grant funding over the years, making this celebration even more meaningful.

When Mercy Chefs invited our team to join them for this milestone event, Lexie was able to attend on behalf of KW Cares and celebrate two decades of incredible impact, compassion, and service.

We're grateful for partners like Mercy Chefs who show up when communities need it most. Congratulations on 20 years of feeding hope, serving with excellence, and making a difference across the country. ❤️

We are truly overwhelmed—in the best way—by the response to KW Cares Month! While we know the KW Family always shows up for one another, this outpouring of generosity is inspiring. ❤️

1,664 people came together to raise $316,331 during Cares Month. That is the culmination of thousands of acts of caring from those who gave, led fundraising pages, and rallied others to get involved. We are so grateful for each and every one of you.

We want to give an extra special thank you to the top 10 Market Centers that raised the most money for Cares Month. Because of you, KW associates facing challenging times will receive the financial support they need—and a powerful reminder that they are not alone. As one grantee shared: “Receiving a grant from KW Cares reminded us that we are surrounded by a community that truly cares.”

Thank you for making Keller Williams what it is—a community that shows up for each other.

There are 9 more days for your Market Center to raise $890 or more in honor of Mo Anderson’s 89th birthday and her example of giving, caring, and sharing. We’re all part of the same community, and KW Cares Month is an opportunity to extend a helping hand to those who are hurting. A few of the stories that have moved us recently are:

❤️‍🩹 Danielle, who suffered a toxin-related brain injury after mold was found in her new home. Her homeowner’s insurance doesn’t cover mold damage, and her inspector’s Errors & Omissions policy doesn’t include mold coverage.

❤️‍🩹 Laura & Don, who were unable to work while both battling cancer at the same time. Laura has to travel out of state for treatment, and Don was diagnosed less than a year ago.

❤️‍🩹 Jennifer, whose home suffered a devastating fire when her critically ill partner's oxygen tanks ignited, destroying their home and everything they owned.

❤️‍🩹 Jessica, who had to travel across the country for spinal surgery after doctors were unable to find the source of an infection for more than 18 months.

We had a wonderful time together celebrating our Vice President of Development, Rachel Elder, who won Outstanding Fundraising Professional of the Year. ❤️ Even Rachel's parents were able to join!
