Texas 4000 cultivates student leaders and engages communities in the fight against cancer.

Texas 4000’s mission is to cultivate student leaders and engage communities in the fight against cancer. We share hope, knowledge and charity through leadership development, grantmaking, and our cornerstone event, a 4,000+ mile bike ride from Austin to Anchorage. We share HOPE by letting those touched by cancer know that we are riding for them and fighting for a world without cancer. We share KNOW

LEDGE by bringing life-saving information about cancer prevention to communities and providing leadership development training to tomorrow’s leaders. We share CHARITY by contributing to cancer research and cancer support services while developing the next generation of volunteers and philanthropists. Texas 4000 envisions a world where all students can become leaders in creating a cancer-free future.

The 2026 team successfully completed their Century Test! Congratulations! 🎉

Thank you to all the alumni and volunteers who cheered, hosted rest stops, and SAG’d! We’re so thankful for your continued support.

And a big thank you to for their generous donation of 80 delicious breakfast tacos for the ride team to refuel with through their 100 mile ride! The team also stayed hydrated and cramp free with the help of shots at the midway point!

The riders could not have done it without all of you! We appreciate everyone’s hard work! 💙🚴‍♀️🧡
