Prayer Warriors Update: The frame supports everything else that is built upon it! Whether in a race car, your health, your family, career, and success it is all the same! Faith, Love and Grace are the foundation of any frame! The tools used to build on this frame are Prayers, Wisdom, Knowledge, Effort, Persistence and again Faith, Love and Grace! My health is improving everyday in baby steps with little tests and battles everyday and your prayers have helped me endure this battle! Your Faith, Love and God’s Grace has given me Strength and Hope to endure the trials of this life! Thank you!
The enemy uses the opposite of these in the battles against us in our success of these goals! The tools used against us are evil, ignorance,, lack of effort, inconsistency and doubt, hate and fear!
Without a good frame a race car is not successful at winning or safe, it won’t stand up to the stresses and strains of the track and protect the driver when adversity comes. It takes someone with knowledge and wisdom to create and build the frame to make all the pieces fit and to allow the flexibility and strength to work in the hardest of times on the track. Knowing this and learning from the owners manual how the car was tested and seeing examples of successes and tests it passed throughout time and how it can be adjusted allows the driver to have faith that it will stand up against the battle and win the race!
Just like ourselves if our framework was not built with knowledge and wisdom we won’t have the faith to know we can stand against the hard times we are destined to face! God built us in His image, because He had the knowledge and wisdom of what we would face in the trials of life against the evil one and his schemes! Reading the Bible and learning the adjustments God built in and the examples of the many tests and trials the body of believers have face gives us the faith needed to stand against the enemy! Without this knowledge we will have doubt and fear that will keep us from the persistent effort needed for success to win the race! If we do not have the details we need to have persistence, and the desire to give the effort to keep making the adjustments as the trials change to win the battles we face we will fail. God gives us Grace to make mistakes to learn from and make adjustments needed to find the strength to win the battles! It is just like the race car that is built strong gives the driver the grace needed to come back week after week to make the adjustments and learn the car to make it better and better to one day win the race!
Having Faith, Love and Grace comes from knowing the creator knew the trials we would face before we were born and built us in His image to withstand the tests of this life! He sent His Son to die on the cross to show us His love so that we would know why He created us the way we are! He knew this life would have rough places in it that we would need to overcome to win the race!
Our lives are like a race car battling a race track and racing against others knowing that we might crash or be crashed and hit the wall and be broken and bent! God gives us a new batch of Grace each day so we can get up and rebuild ourselves to face the battle of life again and again until we win the race! He knew we would not come out and win on day one just like a new driver doesn’t know his car on day one! It takes lots of time and many laps on many different tracks before he can gain the knowledge and have the faith needed to push it to its limits and beyond to win the race. We were made in the image of the one and only true God and we were sinful at birth and it takes knowing the savior Jesus Christ and that he lived as an example of how we should live and what we can do in this wonderful body we were created in and that died for our sins and was raised three days later so that we could have eternal life and if we had faith and believed this we would spend eternity with Him and win the race.
These pictures in this post represent those same struggles to me. The frame we built our race car on is strong and built by a very knowledgeable builder! The pieces fit together to make a good car! We have faith knowing this and allows us to do something we love to do with hopes of winning many races! My friends love me and pray for me and support me in my struggles just like the factory supports our racing efforts. Each of you have added love, knowledge and wisdom to my days to help me endure these trials I face. Jeff and Tracie Thompson have supported me throughout my own racing days and in my life and have given me knowledge and strength to succeed! Just like Gary and Sherri DeLay Noisworthy who are the parents of Tiffany Seth, a pretty girl I chased from my high school days! Gary nicknamed me the “Kentucky Wonder” I think due to how much I grew taller while knowing them. Seeing their message and reminding me I am the KY Wonder made me smile and know they cared about me and my healing! This evil disease has blessed me to be reconnected to them and they gave me this cool Mark Martin shirt and much more and for that I am grateful to them and their faithfulness! They give me strength in their frequent messages to me to keep fighting and standing strong even on my bad days and to know they support me through my trials.
During my trials I was given the vision to create Grace2Race to give us all a vehicle to help others in the racing world that have injuries and illnesses that need our help. I came into this with a strong faith but knew I needed many prayers to help me have the strength needed to fight this battle because it was bigger than me but not bigger than my God! So no matter the level of faith or beliefs someone has helping them through their trials is what we are her for. God has given each of us strength and made us each special in our own ways to be able to help and support each other as you each have supported me ! Some that of you that I don’t even know have said they are praying for me and this shows me that they love me even though they don’t know me. This can only be done through faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ because He loved us before we were ever formed in our mother’s womb.
I want to pray for and thank each of you for your support and knowing your prayers have given me strength on the bad days that I ran out even before I got out of bed. Thank you! I ask God’s protection and provision for your lives that you may learn the adjustments needed to have your successes and to gain the knowledge and strength to grow your Faith and Love in God’s Grace! AMEN!!!
