Last week was a BIG one at Beyond The Bars!!
We celebrated two incredible milestones—Class 11 completing and graduating from the intensive Phase 1 of Beyond The Bars, and Class 9 officially graduating from the full, year-long program.
Graduation days always remind us just how many people are part of making this work possible. The room was filled with family and friends, volunteers, adopters, donors, Public Defenders, judges, community partners, and longtime supporters—all there to celebrate these men and what they have accomplished.
For Class 11, this marks the end of an intense first 90 days—but there are still nine months of work ahead.
For Class 9, it marks something even bigger: one full year of showing up, doing the work, being accountable, and choosing something different for their futures.
And, of course, the dogs were right there in the middle of it all. Because around here, the dogs are the magic.
Congratulations, Class 11 and Class 9. We are incredibly proud of you—and we’re not done yet.
