It’s a child developing a strong foundation for learning in a nurturing environment.

It’s an advocate turning her voice into action to influence public policy.

And it’s a girl growing in confidence and discovering new possibilities through hands-on STEAM exploration and mentorship.

What does courage look like in civic engagement?

🧡 Our YWCA Greater Atlanta team recently launched our Campus Book and Learning Club with a conversation centered on that question. This year’s theme, Collaboration and Community Involvement, creates space to learn together and exchange perspectives.

We believe strong communities start with people who know their voices — and their actions — can make a difference.

Where a woman lives should not determine her opportunity to live a long, healthy life.

As begins, the challenge is not only ensuring women know what they should do for their health. We must also ask whether we have made it possible for them to do it.
