CPH: Pride is this weekend Oct 10 & 11! Join us as we share God's love for all LGBTQ+ folks. Your pastoral team especially encourages straight allies to participate at a time when LGBTQ+ communities are under attack. Here's how you can help:

1) Volunteer at the booth (Sat or Sun)
2) March in the parade (starting Sun after service ~1230p at Civic Center Marta Row E)

If you've ever struggled with the idea of hell, the Thursday night group is starting Razing Hell by Sharon Baker tonight, Oct 1. We meet weekly 8-9p on Zoom, and you don't need to be there every week or do the reading to join in. [email protected] for more.

Our annual pet blessing is this Saturday! We will have a memorial service at noon for anyone who lost a pet this year (let your friends know!).

Sunday we'll have the Blessing of the Stuffies and a snack potluck (email [email protected] if you can bring something)!

Don't forget: Pride is coming up fast: https://www.churchatponceandhighland.org/event/pride26 If you plan to march, email [email protected].

That and more in The Week at Ponce & Highland:

Come celebrate God’s love for our furry family!

From 10a-2p on Sat, Oct 3, we'll be on the front lawn of the church at 1085 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, offering blessings for our furry family. Drop in anytime for a quick blessing and to learn more about Atlanta area pet rescues, adoptions, and services.

This is an all-ages event and kids are welcome!

At 12p, we'll have a short service of remembrance for pets who have departed in the last year. It's so hard losing pets who mean so much to us, so we want to offer this time for honoring their memory.

CPH: The last Saturday of the month is Mercy Fest! Mercy Fest is a cookout and community gathering for people experiencing homelessness this Sat at 11a at Edgewood Church on Memorial. All are welcome, but if you can bring food or help cook/serve, please email [email protected].

- The last weekend of the month also means we have kids extended play and an old-time gospel string band jam session after service this Sunday.
- We will have our regular "Apocalypse Now" Bible study, not "all questions welcome."
- This Sunday is also a guys billiards night at 6p at Twain's in Decatur.

Plus: Ever wondered about hell? Join the 40s-&-under group for Razing Hell by Sharon Baker. All that and more in the Week at Ponce & Highland:
