Join Friends of John Howell Park for a FREE community kick-off event as we celebrate and launch support for the John Howell Park playground renovation! This is a great chance to gather with neighbors, let the kids play, and learn more about the exciting plans for the park.

TOMORROW: VaHi Selig Community Meeting

Virginia-Highland neighbors are invited to join the VHCA Planning Committee for a community presentation by Selig Enterprises about the proposed rezoning and new development along Ponce de Leon Ave at the NE corner of Bonaventure Ave.

This new rezoning and development proposal is for a mixed use multi-family residential development. This evening is opportunity for our neighborhood to hear the details of this proposal from the Selig team and to provide them with our input and feedback.

**There will be no virtual option or tech recording. Please plan to join us in person**

Join us Saturday, Jan 18 for workday at John Howell Park (797 Virginia Ave NE). From 10am -12pm volunteers will be spreading mulch, removing ivy, and doing general cleanup around the park. All are welcome to join!
