We’re really excited to introduce something new to the AYPROS lineup: Mug Club.
Over the past few years, Pub Club has become one of the most attended and recognizable things we do. But as AYPROS has grown, so has the realization that not everyone connects over an evening at a bar. Or even with the wide range of programming we already offer through Lunch & Learns, Get on Board, 828 Lead, hikes, partner events, Success Series gatherings, and more.
Some people would simply rather start their day with good coffee, breakfast, and conversation.
Mug Club is being designed as a recurring morning social that highlights local coffee shops, cafés, and breakfast spots across Asheville while creating the same kind of welcoming, low-pressure atmosphere that has made Pub Club such a strong entry point into our community.
Just like Pub Club, we also hope this becomes a meaningful way to support local businesses by intentionally bringing people into independently owned spaces throughout the city and buying their first cup of coffee.
We’re still finalizing exactly when these will happen, whether that’s the first Monday morning of the month, a Sunday morning format, or something in between, but we’re getting close.
