We’re thrilled to share that our Rite of Passage Adventure Weekend was a big success! It was a beautiful container full of magic - the boys are coming out of this weekend with mentors and powerful experiences! Thank you to all of our Mentors & community for supporting this weekend of initiation for the boys.

If your child could benefit from healthy male role models and a growing community of peers on a similar path, we invite you to check out our Summer Programming! The calendar & registration form can be found through our linktree. We will have weekly activities ranging from Frisbee Golf & Workouts to The Solo at Linville Gorge.

On Sunday, June 14th at 1pm we will be having our Homecoming Ceremony & Open House for Summer Programming. This will be a great chance to meet some of the mentors and boys who attended ROPAW and to hear more about what we offer as an organization. If you would like more information or have any questions please DM us!

Get to know our Board of Directors! Our next Spotlight is our Board President- Stuart Motola sharing why he serves and the importance of our organizations work!

“I serve on the Board of Directors as President because I see how important, during this time, human to human connection is. This is what we’re offering boys, weekly in the schools and out of the schools. Teen boys need this modeling of healthy human connection, healthy masculinity and how to show up vulnerably with confidence as they will be seen and heard. This work is so critical for the future generations.” - Stuart Motola, Board President

“Discussing patience with teens promotes emotional regulation, reduces stress, and fosters resilience against daily pressures. Modeling and discussing this skill builds stronger, trusting relationships, helps them manage social challenges, improves academic focus, and boosts overall mental well-being and self-esteem.”

This week in our school Council Groups we talked about Patience. Prompting the boys to reflect on something that’s worth waiting for in life. Let this be a reminder and opportunity to have these conversations at home with your kids!

We’re about a month out from our ROPAW, and things are really exciting. We have seven confirmed boys —and still a month for more to join! If you know a teen boy who could benefit from more confidence in himself, reduced anxiety, the ability to responsibly direct his life, or the capacity to identify his authentic self our Rites of Passage Adventure Weekend could be just what they need. We’re looking forward to a powerful weekend May 29th - 31st at Camp Grier in Old Fort, NC. We have partial and full scholarships available. Please pass along our information or reach out with any inquiries!

If this is the kind of thing you’d like to see more of in the world, please consider making a contribution today! Every bit supports our mission to provide this programming where no boy is turned away due to lack of funds.

“Talking leadership with teens builds self-awareness, confidence, and critical decision-making skills. It fosters effective communication, teamwork, and resilience, while teaching them to solve real-world problems and take responsibility. This guidance helps prepare teens for future academic, personal, and professional success.”

This week in our school Council Groups we talked about Leadership. Prompting the boys to reflect on a leadership quality they admire in others. Let this be a reminder and opportunity to have these conversations at home with your kids!
