83 years ago, Dr. Albert Hofmann took a ride that changed the world. This Bicycle Day, we’ll be discussing how that visionary spark informs our organizational reality.

Cohoba’s mission is deeply rooted in both the social work profession, and the artistic ecosystem we are happy to call home. As psychedelic social workers, we explore the tension between individual insights, sustainable community care, and the beige-ification of the counterculture in the search for institutional acceptance.

Cohoba won’t meet for our regular society meeting in February- come out Saturday 2/7 to check out what our community partners are up to! and are offering beautiful ways to connect and celebrate. We’ll be back in March for Open Studios Saturday - stay tuned!

Join us for our final society meeting of the year! This month’s gathering will be themed around mindfulness in the age of social injustice, led by and . Bring your own vinyl if possible, both to share your favorite tunes with the group and to use during an collective art exercise (if you don’t have a vinyl for the art portion, we will have some available for the group.)
The idea is to create a safe and cozy atmosphere where we can both enjoy our collective musical stylings and process any difficult feelings that may be coming up for folks. At Cohoba we believe in the dignity of all people and have been appalled by the ongoing immigration raids in our city. Moreover, we have been horrified at overtly racist sentiments expressed in response to the raids within the psychedelic community, and the lack of any real accountability processes for such hateful and dangerous language. We invite folks to share space and connect during these trying times.

Hello! We’ve been quiet on social media but here’s a couple updates: first pic is cofounders and presenting everything we’ve learned from 5 years of growing Cohoba at in June. Our time in Denver was fortuitous and we’ve been working on some new offerings for y’all! We’re collaborating with again this year and hope to see y’all at the fire party on 8/16. We’ll also be hosting for her art opening on 9/5, and having another Society Meeting at Open Studios 9/6 - stay tuned!
