October is American Pharmacists Month! đź’Š

CETA is proud to recognize the pharmacists who work every day to protect patients, improve medication safety, and uphold the highest standards of care.

For those working in sterile compounding, maintaining a safe environment is a team effort. Pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, facility teams, and controlled environment certifiers all play an important role in helping ensure critical spaces perform as intended.

This month, we celebrate the pharmacy professionals who bring knowledge, precision, and an unwavering commitment to patient safety to their work every day.

Thank you for all you do!

Pharmacy teams: what do you look at first when your certification report lands?

Room pressures? HEPA integrity? Airflow? Particle counts? Or do you skip straight to anything marked for follow-up?

A certification report can be much more than a pass/fail document. Used well, it can help pharmacy teams spot changes, ask better questions, and understand what’s happening inside the controlled environment.

What’s one piece of certification data your team pays especially close attention to — and why?

Contract labs: what makes a sample “routine” — until it isn’t?

An unusual result, a trend that suddenly shifts, or a sample that raises more questions than answers can quickly turn routine testing into an investigation.

For labs supporting certifiers and controlled environments, the value isn’t just producing a result — it’s producing data the customer can trust and act on.

What’s one lesson your lab has learned from an unexpected result?

This session cuts past the hype and demonstrates four concrete applications a certification firm can put to work immediately:

- Report narrative drafting
- Client-facing translation of technical findings
- Gap analysis of internal procedures against updated standard revisions
- Trending across a firm's own historical certification data

We hope to see everyone there!
