🌟 What an incredible morning! On Sunday, May 17th, we gathered at The Desmond Hotel in Albany to celebrate the extraordinary young women who earned the Girl Scout Silver and Gold Awards. These changemakers spent 50–80+ hours identifying real issues in their communities, building teams, and creating lasting impact. We are so proud of every single awardee! 💛🌿

Thank you to our emcee 2025 Gold Award Girl Scout Katie Shimick, Honorary Gold Award Recipient Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh, GSNENY CEO Brenda Episcopo, Board Chair Jillian Gale, Troop 5503 for performing our Flag Ceremony, our incredible volunteer committee, and every caregiver and troop leader who helped make the Silver and Gold Awards possible.

Renewal Incentives are still going strong! Council-wide eligibility, not divided by region.
Experience rewards must be used by 4/1/27.
To be eligible for the troop renewal incentive, troop must contain two registered adults (with background checks) plus 5 registered girls, exceptions can be made for Senior/Ambassador Troops for girl numbers.
Troops must have submitted their 2024-2025 Finance Report by 4/1/26 to be eligible; exceptions are made for new troops.
