For the first time since 2019, Lake Clear Camp was able to continue one of our most challenging and exciting traditions: the Seahorse Swim! Campers and CITs who meet the highest qualifications rise early to cross the calm morning lake by boat and swim all the way back to camp under the watchful eyes of lifeguards and waterfront staff.
Congratulations to the 2026 class of Seahorses: CITs Cookie, Pebbles, and Stingray, as well as campers Laurel, Isabel, and Lily. We'd also like to extend a special shout-out to campers Emma and Catherine from week 2, who qualified for the swim but weren't able to complete it due to multiple mornings with severe fog. Finally, we could not have safely brought back this time-honored tradition without our staff, who trained and woke up early to allow our campers and CITs to participate: Katniss, Nova, Kiwi, Denali, Star, Winnie, Thursday, and Jaybird.
