We’re excited to celebrate Nina Long, Director of Human Resources at Poyner Spruill LLP for being named a Key Volunteer of the Year by Triangle Nonprofit & Volunteer Leadership Center 🎉 Nina (pictured with Haven House CEO Michelle Zechmann) has been a dedicated leader on our Board of Directors since 2010 and is a proud member of our Hall of Champions. Her vision and commitment have helped shape Haven House’s strategic direction, launch our first resource development department, and guide organizational growth. Beyond her board service, Nina supports Haven House by being a tireless advocate, volunteer, fundraiser, and community connector. Her passion for service inspires our team and strengthens our mission every day. We’re grateful for Nina’s leadership and for Poyner Spruill’s commitment to giving back across North Carolina. We're hiring! Our staff members (over 65 FT+ PT employees) work hard, care deeply about the youth we serve, and find joy in the impact we make together. We strive to have a supportive, collaborative workplace that allows us to show up at our best for youth and for each other.

It's one of our favorite days of the year. We get to sit at a table, meet new people, and talk about the work we do supporting young people in Raleigh.
