A truly special moment in Bacolod.

Last June 6, 2026, Operation Smile Philippines, together with our valued partner HOPE Volunteers Foundation, Inc., welcomed James Adalla and his mother, Fe Adalla, for a meaningful meet-and-greet with some of the children and families served through the Bacolod Surgical Program.

Born with a cleft condition himself, James' journey is a powerful reminder of the life-changing impact that access to safe surgery can bring. As a long-time friend and partner of Operation Smile Philippines, he continues to inspire hope by sharing his story and connecting with families who are walking a path similar to the one he once traveled.

Meeting the children and their parents was more than just an exchange of smiles—it was a celebration of resilience, possibility, and the brighter futures made possible through compassionate care and community support.

Thank you, James and Fe, for taking the time to encourage our patients and their families. Your presence reminded everyone that every smile transformed today can become a story of hope for generations to come.
