The Joint Foreign Chambers (JFC) conducted a consultation on September 23, 2026, with Undersecretary Rolando Ligon Jr. of the Revenue Operations Group (ROG) and Dr. Karlo Fermin S. Adriano, Assistant Secretary of the Fiscal Policy and Monitoring Group (FPMG) of the Department of Finance (DOF).

The discussion covered key policy matters affecting the business environment, including taxation, customs procedures, digitalization, international business operations, and emerging areas of economic policy such as the Blue Economy.

The engagement reflects JFCโ€™s continuing efforts to facilitate dialogue between the private sector and government and to support a more predictable, efficient, and competitive business environment in the Philippines.
