As the Rotary International Convention Taipei 2026 comes to a close, we reflect on five unforgettable days filled with learning, fellowship, inspiration, and service. From meaningful sessions and cultural celebrations to reconnecting with old friends and meeting fellow Rotarians from around the world, this convention truly embodied the spirit of Rotary.

The Closing Ceremony was a celebration of our shared accomplishments, global connections, and commitment to creating lasting change in our communities. As we leave Taipei, we carry with us new ideas, renewed inspiration, and stronger friendships that will continue to strengthen our Rotary journey.

Thank you, Taipei, for your warm hospitality. Until we meet again at RI Convention 2027 in Barcelona!

President-Elect Jackie Sayo attended the President-Elect's Leadership Luncheon, joining Rotary leaders from around the world in a meaningful gathering focused on leadership, service, and the future of Rotary.

A highlight of the event was the inspiring message from RI President 2026–27 (President-elect), Olayinka Hakeem Babalola, who encouraged Rotary leaders to lead with vision, strengthen fellowship, and continue creating positive change in communities worldwide.

An enriching experience that reinforced Rotary's commitment to leadership, service, and making a lasting impact.

Another exciting afternoon at the House of Friendship! We had the opportunity to explore the various exhibits and officially sign up for RI Convention 2027 in Barcelona, Spain. 🇪🇸

One of the most inspiring highlights was learning more about Rotary's ongoing End Polio Now campaign—a global initiative that has become one of Rotary's most recognized and impactful humanitarian efforts. It was a powerful reminder of how Rotary's commitment, together with its partners, continues to bring the world closer to a polio-free future.

A meaningful day of inspiration and celebrating the impact of Rotary around the globe. 💙💛❤️

An inspiring afternoon at General Session 2, focusing on Rotary's power to bring communities and people together through service, collaboration, and fellowship. The session highlighted how meaningful connections and collective action can create lasting impact and strengthen communities around the world.

Surrounded by fellow Rotarians from diverse cultures and backgrounds, we were reminded that our shared commitment to Service Above Self continues to unite us in making a difference globally.

It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with fellow Filipinos, build new friendships, and celebrate the contributions of Philippine Rotary to the global Rotary family.

An unforgettable evening celebrating the rich cultures, traditions, and friendships that make Rotary truly international. The Asian Cultural Festival brought together Rotarians from across the region for a night filled with vibrant performances, cultural exchange, fellowship, and unity.

A special highlight of the evening was the opportunity to be in the presence of Rotary International leaders: RI President 2023–24 Gordon R. McInally, RI President 2025–26 Francesco Arezzo, and RI Incoming President 2026–27 Olayinka Hakeem Babalola. Their leadership and dedication continue to inspire Rotarians worldwide to create lasting change through service.

As we shared stories, traditions, and laughter, we were reminded that despite our different backgrounds, we are united by a common purpose—to serve, connect, and make a positive impact in our communities and around the world.

A proud moment to witness the Philippine flag displayed during the celebration, representing our nation's dedication to Rotary's mission and values. As Rotarians from every corner of the globe came together, we were reminded that despite our diverse cultures and backgrounds, we are united by a common purpose—to create hope and lasting change in our communities.

Representing the Rotary Club of Makati Bel-Air were HIP Jackie Sayo, PP Tanya Lumanlan, PP Rachel Ocampo, and PE Shiela Portillo, proudly connecting with Rotarians from different countries and strengthening the bonds of international fellowship.
