Building a culture of transformation, one cohort at a time! 🛠️

The University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) Cebu Executive Education, in partnership with ISA, the IESE Business School, and the UA&P School of Management, recently conducted the first module session of its year-long, hands-on practicum on “Governing Institutional Transformation: A CEO Practicum for Enterprise, Stewardship, and Nation-Building” from July 31 to August 1 at the UA&P Cebu Center for Executive Education in Cebu City.

The first module, focusing on the purpose, mission, and architecture of institutional transformation, was facilitated by key experts including ISA Founder and Chairman Emeritus, Dr. Jesus Estanislao, PGS Practice Leader and ISA Executive Director, Mr. Christian Zaens, alongside distinguished professors and faculty.

The premier joint offering spans four intensive on-site sessions from July 2026 to May 2027, designed to engage select cohorts in a rigorous process of clarifying organizational purpose, formulating transformation strategies, and strengthening governance structures to institutionalize world-class ex*****on.

ISA’s Performance Governance System (PGS) is utilized as the backbone of the program, providing the practical architecture to translate institutional purpose into a governable transformation program.

The Philippine Open Government Partnership (PH-OGP) Project Management Office under the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) held its Q2 PH-OGP Steering Committee Meeting and MOU Ceremonial Signing on July 2, 2026, at the DBM Multi-Purpose Hall, San Miguel, Manila.

The ceremonial signing, attended by ISA Vice Chairman GEN REY LEONARDO GUERRERO (RET), DBM Acting Secretary and PH-OGP Chairperson Mr. Kim Robert De Leon, and other local and national government officials, was held to formalize and establish the partnership between PH-OGP and ISA, advancing open government principles within the institution and the local government units within its network.

In pursuit of expanding and supporting the PH-OGP 2026 Agenda, this strategic partnership recognizes that governance reforms are best achieved through sustained collaboration among government, civil society, the private sector, academia, and development partners.
