Kapil Chadha is a volunteer Area Coordinator for Daffodil Day. Having been through a near-death experience, Kapil found a newfound sense of empathy and humanity, driving him to give back to the community.

He’s now been a Daffodil Day Area Coordinator for over three years and coordinates a group of collectors at key locations.

He believes that being an Area Coordinator is not only a great way to give back to those in need but also helps him build key leadership and relationship management skills.

Want to become an Area Coordinator this Daffodil Day? To apply, email Sudha at [email protected] or call 027 302 8581.

Sport is about more than the game — it’s about confidence, connection, and belonging. Volunteer coaches play a vital role across activities like sailing, tenpin bowling, basketball, athletics, swimming, and table tennis.

By sharing your time and encouragement, you help people of all ages and abilities build skills, stay active, and feel part of a team.

You don’t have to be an expert — just someone who’s willing to support and inspire.

👉 Step up, get involved, and make a difference through sport.

They’re looking for creative volunteers who can help restore, repaint, sew, and refresh toys from the comfort of their own home. If you enjoy arts and crafts and have your own workspace and tools, this could be the perfect way to make a playful impact in your community.

From a new dress for a doll to a fresh coat of paint on a favourite puzzle — your skills can help bring joy to local whānau for years to come. 💛
