To our dedicated trustees and hardworking volunteers, thank you for your countless hours, commitment, and service during the Santacruzan sa Aotearoa 2026: Reyna ng Flores de Mayo and Harana Singing Contest 2026. From the early preparations to the final moments of the celebration, your efforts made everything possible.

We sincerely appreciate our Banyuhay Aotearoa Trustees & Founding members, Lois Carlos , Jaz Saldua , Em Ly Cardeno, Weng Canares, Kakay G B Lestojas, & Emma Baet Carreon for their consistent efforts in making this possible. Southern Mindanao has been hit by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake today causing widespread and devastating damages to infrastructure. Our thoughts are with our kababayans affected by this natural disaster, including members of the Filipino diaspora who are witnessing this from Aotearoa and different parts of the world, waiting for news from their loved ones.

For those wanting to extend financial assistance to help the communities affected by this calamity, you can support Angat Buhay’s ongoing bayanihan drive.

Angat Buhay is coordinating with the Angat Bayanihan Volunteer Network to extend immediate assistance to communities affected by the earthquake in Mindanao to monitor developments, assess urgent needs, and prepare for any necessary response efforts.
