Yay!! It’s Mother’s Day this Sunday 💜
For many, this is such a beautiful and exciting day to celebrate our amazing mums and all they do.
But for some, Mother’s Day can also be incredibly difficult.
To the mums mourning the loss of a baby and with empty arms this Mother’s Day…
To the mums who have had to leave everything behind to escape unsafe environments to protect their babies…
To the women who feel deep in their hearts they were meant to be mums, but that dream hasn’t yet become reality…
To the mums showing up every single day while facing overwhelming health challenges, chronic illness, disability, or mental health battles that can make even getting out of bed feel impossible…
To the mums cherishing every precious moment because they don’t know how many Mother’s Days they may have left…
We see you. We admire your strength. And you deserve to be acknowledged too 💜
These are only a few of the many stories carried quietly by incredible women every day.
This has been sitting heavily on our hearts, and although it’s very last minute, we wanted to do something small to remind some special mums that they are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated.
So this year, we have put together a small number of special Mother’s Day gifts to bless some deserving mums in our community.
Due to limited funding, we have only been able to create a small number of these care packages, so we would love your help nominating someone truly deserving to receive one.
Every mum is doing an incredible job, and we know motherhood is never easy 💜 We’ll also be doing a special Mother’s Day appreciation post where everyone can tag and celebrate the amazing mums in their lives.
But for these gifts, we would especially love nominations for mums facing difficult circumstances like those mentioned above — including yourself if needed.
Because many of these situations are deeply personal and sensitive, you are more than welcome to send your nomination to us privately via message.
