rrive they are typically faced with extreme culture shock, are self-conscious about their English speaking skills and isolate themselves very quickly. LIGHT PARTY
An alternative to Halloween and in an effort to provide the children, their families and the community with a safe environment the Light Party is held each year on the 31st of October. THE CHRISTMAS DRIVE THROUGH - COME TO BETHLEHEM
A Christmas light display with a point of difference. During the 5 nights leading up to Christmas, Northcross Community Church in Oteha, transform their car park into a “Bethlehem village” using lights, props and people in costume to tell the original Christmas story. REALIFE
Browns Bay beach area and Skate Park is a regular hang out for youth on a Friday evening. The youth can often be found drinking or under the influence of drugs in this area. Realife provide a safe, social environment with entertainment, while providing the youth with activities and a mentor when needed.
