🎄🐾 Our Christmas donations are starting to arrive! 🎁
A huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far towards our Annual Christmas Sale! We're delighted to see some lovely items coming into the sanctuary and we're so grateful for everyone's kindness and generosity.

We're still looking for more donations to help make this year's Christmas Sale a great success! 🎁🐾
A Christmas candle, an unwanted gift, a gift set or something tucked away in a cupboard that you never got around to using. It could be just what we're looking for!

We'd really appreciate it if you could share this post and spread the word amongst your family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues. You never know who might have something they'd be happy to donate!

🎄 Dogs Aid Annual Christmas Sale will take place on Saturday, 7th November from 11am–4pm at Willow Park on the Green.

Every donation, big or small, helps us raise much-needed funds for the dogs in our care.

Thank you for all your support. We really couldn't do it without you! 🐾

🐾 Happy 1st Gotcha Day, Gulliver! 🐾

It's been one whole year since our gorgeous senior boy Gulliver left Dogs Aid for his forever home! 🏡
Gulliver was adored by Maggie and our volunteers during his time at the sanctuary, so it's wonderful to see him so happy and loved.
His lovely family have been in touch with a wonderful update, and we're delighted to hear he's brought so much joy into their lives. He's gentle, full of fun and, of course, the boss of the house! 😂🐾

❤️ Gulliver is a lovely reminder that our senior dogs still have so much love to give and so many happy memories yet to make. Sometimes, all they need is someone to give them a chance. 🐾

A huge thank you to Jackie and Dermot for giving Gulliver the loving home and happy retirement he deserves.

Happy Gotcha Day, Gulliver 🐾

A very lovely pupdate from ex-Dogs Aid ‘Pudding’…who was very aptly renamed ‘Púca’ ❤️🐾

This extremely sweet girl was surrendered to us last year through no fault of her own. It’s safe to say that she melted everyone’s hearts at the sanctuary with her adorably squishy face & floppy ear. Thankfully, she didn’t have too long to wait as she found the most pawfect home 🏠

Púca is absolutely adored by both her wonderful pawrents & little sibling who follows her every move 😅 She adores her walks, is a total foodie & especially loves being snuggled up in her cosy blankets on the couch. She even completed an agility course recently & was very proud of herself! 🏆 Her forever family couldn’t imagine life without her 🫶🏻 Which is what we wish for every dog!

Many happy years ahead for you Púca 🐾

💔 PLEASE HELP US SAVE OUR GALA BALL! 🐾

Ticket sales are unfortunately slower than we had hoped, and if numbers don’t increase soon, we may have to make the difficult decision to postpone our Gala Ball on 24th October.

This fundraiser is vital for both The Haven Rescue and Husky Rescue Ireland, helping towards vet bills and the everyday costs of caring for our dogs.

🎟️ Tickets are €79.99 and include a four-course meal, live music and a DJ.

🙏 If you’re thinking of coming, please get your tickets now. If you can’t attend, please share this post to help spread the word.

We really don’t want to have to pull the plug. Please help us make this happen for the dogs! ❤️🐾
It’s a night of fun, with raffles, dancing and just having a great night with great people 💃🏼🕺🏻

🐾🌈 Rainbow Bridge 2027 Calendar 🌈🐾

As part of Dogs Aid Animal Sanctuary's 40th anniversary, we're delighted to introduce our very special Rainbow Bridge Calendar.

Every photograph tells a story. ❤️

Behind every photograph is a much-loved dog, a lifetime of memories and someone whose heart they touched forever.

What makes this calendar so special is that through the unconditional love we have for the dogs we've lost, we're now helping other dogs in need. Those precious memories are making a real difference to the dogs still in our care. 🐾

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who shared their photographs, trusted us with their stories and generously donated.

Together, we've raised nearly €5,000 in donations for the dogs in our care 🐾

As a charity, we rely heavily on the kindness and generosity of our supporters to continue caring for the dogs who need us most. Every donation really does make a difference.

And we'd love to show you exactly how your support helps!

🐾 Stay tuned over the coming weeks as we share more about where your donations go and the difference they make to the dogs at Dogs Aid.

📅 Calendars available from 1st November

€15 each, with all proceeds supporting Dogs Aid Animal Sanctuary.

Thank you for helping us turn precious memories into something that will help so many other dogs.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. 🌈
