On behalf of the Richard McKee Memorial Group, we would like to sincerely thank Dublin Lord Mayor Ray McAdam for attending our memorial today and honouring the occasion with his presence.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the Finglas community for turning out on such a cold morning to show their continued support and respect. A special word of appreciation goes to Dublin City Council for their ongoing support of this annual commemorative event, we are truly grateful.
We would also like to thank Masseys Funeral Home for their kindness and hospitality, as well as the local taxi office for graciously sharing their space with us.
We would also like to thank Marcus Howard, for his incredible insight into the life of Richard McKee.
It was wonderful to see all local political representatives come together in unity to mark this important occasion.
Finally, the committee works tirelessly each year to ensure the memory of Brigadier Richard McKee is honoured with dignity and respect. I would like to sincerely thank each member for their dedication and continued commitment to the Finglas community.
We look forward to seeing all again next November 21st at 12pm.
