We meet up every other week to discuss the previous book we've just read and to get the next one over tea and biscuits. We read books from every genre, both classical and modern, from The Very Hungry Caterpillar to 50 shades of Gray! In the weeks in between, we usually have another activity, such as holding a viewing of a film or tv adaptation of the books, bowling trips, gaming nights, trips to t

he zoo or theatre, or other such enjoyable miscellany. We also like to embark on an international trip in semester two, with previous destinations including Krakow, London, Edinburgh and Budapest, with great craic and a huge host of cultural and literary activities guaranteed every time.

We very are excited to announce our latest event, the booksoc Book Crawl!

Get ready to explore Dublin and the book shops around it with us as we visit a variety of bookstores. Starting in Chapters we'll see many stores some you may have heard of and others you probably haven't. It's guaranteed that you will find at least something that catches your eye!

Hello,

If you haven't already be sure to check out our linktree that is linked below! We have a variety of different social media platforms that we use for the society and we'd be happy for you to join whichever one's you want to.

Currently we have our Facebook and Instagram pages where you can follow us and catch our announcements and updates as they come out. We also have two new platforms being used as well, we have a wattsapp groupchat that we recommend you join. In addition to this we have a goodreads group where we hope people can come to discuss their favourite books.

We hope you decide to join and follow some of these different sites and groups if you haven't already. Our next post will hopefully be announcing our next event coming up, until then happy reading!
