🎒 Children across Ireland and Ethiopia are back at school.

This back-to-school season, a €15 donation can provide a child in southern Ethiopia with a pair of glasses.

11-year-old Lidiya loves English and dreams of becoming a scientist. When her vision was tested at school, she was referred for further care and received the glasses she needed.

Being able to see clearly means she can focus on what matters – learning, taking part in class and pursuing her ambitions. 💛

Donate €15 today to help provide another child with the glasses they need for the school year ahead.

At just four years old, Abiso’s world changed when a painful eye infection stopped him from playing, learning and enjoying childhood.

Living in rural Ethiopia, his family faced significant barriers to accessing eye care. When Orbis-trained community health workers reached Abiso’s village, they provided the treatment he needed and shared practical advice on hygiene and sanitation to help protect his sight and prevent future infections.

Today, Abiso’s mother, Zenash, is hopeful for her son’s future and dreams of seeing him grow up healthy and thriving.

Thanks to the support of people like you, families can access the care, knowledge and support they need to prevent avoidable blindness and build healthier futures.
