We are delighted to welcome Amy Nolan ๐ as Chief Executive Officer of ARC Cancer Support Centres.
Joining ARC following a distinguished career of more than 20 years in clinical leadership, policy, services and advocacy, Amy brings extensive experience and a deep commitment to improving the lives of people affected by cancer, focused always on ensuring that patients and families can access compassionate, practical and evidence-based support when they need it most.
Most recently, Amy served as Director of Clinical Affairs at the Irish Cancer Society, providing strategic leadership across national cancer policy, patient services, education and research. She holds an MSc in Clinical Leadership in Healthcare and is a Board Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery.
Having been impressed with ARCโs consistent care, dignity and genuinely person-centred supports, Amy looks forward to working with our Board, team, volunteers, patients and their families, and supporters to further evolve our impact and lead ARC into its next chapter.
Speaking about her appointment, Amy said: "As the number of cancer patients diagnosed annually in Ireland continues to grow, I will ensure ARC maintains a patient-centred model of care, to ensure everyone affected by a cancer diagnosis is encouraged to access the services we provide."
We are thrilled to welcome Amy to ARC and look forward to the insights, experience, ambition and leadership she brings as we continue to support people affected by cancer.
Please join us in giving Amy a very warm welcome to the ARC community. ๐
