In our first workshop of the new season, our members worked with Nóra Fay, playing with physical theatre, slapstick comedy and clowning methods to explore different ways of embodying characters.

Meanwhile our new first year members worked with Graham O'Neill and Samuel Coyle on week #1 of our 'First Ten Weeks' programme - the workshops that look at ensemble building and foundational drama skills.

Our programme is funded & supported by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon, Dublin City Council, City of Dublin Youth Services & Youth Theatre Ireland

We are delighted to introduce our new General Manager, Áine Mahony.

Áine is an arts administrator with over a decade of experience in arts management, education and community music and theatre in Western Canada. She served as Executive Director of Vancouver Youth Choir and the General Manager of Lions Gate Sinfonia, where she led the organisation across strategic leadership, operations, finance, programme
development, fundraising and community engagement. She holds a Master’s degree in
Music and has a particular interest in creating meaningful and accessible opportunities for
young people through the arts.

“I’m delighted to be returning to Ireland and joining DYT at such an exciting time. I’m really looking forward to being part of its next chapter and supporting the organisation as it continues to create opportunities for young people to discover, explore and enjoy theatre.”
