Congratulations and best wishes to Platform for Undocumented Migrants - PICUM on celebrating 25 years of incredible work advocating for the rights and dignity of undocumented migrants across Europe.

It was inspiring to come together with organisations from across the continent to share experiences, solidarity, and collective commitment to justice for migrant communities. Here’s to many more years of impactful work ahead.

Today is International Day of Families. 🌍

For thousands of migrant workers in Ireland, being with their family is still not an option. Policy changes introduced in 2025 have made it even harder for families to be together.

Hundreds of affected workers have spoken out through our recent survey. Their stories are powerful, painful and impossible to ignore.

Now we are taking action. Our Families Belong Together campaign is bringing people together to push for real change.

Are you affected by this issue? Want to get involved? We want to hear from you.

Today is International Workers' Day.

Migrant workers all across the country are doing essential jobs like providing care, putting food on tables and building houses amongst many more. They are enriching society, improving the economy and deserve to be treated equally.

However, far too many face exploitation, underpayment, mistreatment and feel powerless to speak out because of the system gives them less safety. Our survey report Tied to Exploitation found that 7 in 10 general employment permit holders have been exploited at work - underpaid, overworked and too afraid to do anything about it.

38,000+ workers across 100+ nationalities are living this reality right now.

This has to change. Join MRCI in this fight.
