There's nothing better than seeing the power of football bring people together for a great cause!

Our Derby Hub recently played host to a charity football tournament in support of Teenage Cancer Trust, bringing players and supporters together for a day of football, fundraising and community spirit.

👏 A huge thank you to everyone who organised, participated and supported the event, helping to raise awareness and funds for a charity that provides vital support to young people facing cancer.

At Leisure United, we believe our facilities are about so much more than football. They're places where communities come together, connections are made and positive change can happen.

November is Men’s Health Awareness Month, and we're supporting Movember by shining a spotlight on something that matters to us all – men's physical and mental wellbeing.

⚽ At Leisure United, we believe football is about so much more than what happens on the pitch.

It's about friendship, belonging, shared experiences and having somewhere to go where you feel part of something.

Whether it's a weekly kickabout, a gym session, a coffee after the game or simply catching up with a mate, these everyday moments can make a real difference to our wellbeing.

This November, we're encouraging men of all ages to take four simple steps:

💬 TALK - Check in with your mates. Ask how they're really doing. And remember, it's OK not to be OK.

🏃 MOVE - Looking after your physical health can have a positive impact on your mental wellbeing, too.

🩺 CHECK - Be aware of changes in your body. Don't ignore symptoms or put off seeking medical advice.

🤝 CONNECT - Make time for friendships, family and the communities that make you feel you belong.

Men's Health Awareness Month is also an important opportunity to raise awareness of prostate cancer, testicular cancer and su***de prevention.

💙 Because sometimes, the most important move you make isn't on the pitch. It's starting a conversation.

The support they have given us since starting both our mens group and youth group has been unbelievable 💛

💙 Throwback to opening Wealden Community Sports Hub in August!

It’s been fantastic to see the hub come to life since opening, welcoming local residents, clubs, schools and community groups from across Hailsham, Hellingly and the wider Wealden area.

Designed to bring people together and create more opportunities to be active, the hub offers:

⚽ Two full-size floodlit 3G football pitches
🎾 Four floodlit netball and tennis courts
🏸 Two floodlit padel courts
🛝 Children’s play area
🛹 Skatepark
🏃 Walking, running and cycling trail
☕ Community café and community room
🚼 Modern changing facilities, including a Changing Places facility
🅿️ 195 parking spaces, including EV charging points

A lot has happened since opening day - and we’re only just getting started.

⚽💙 Dementia Walking Football – Bringing People Together! 💙⚽

We’re proud to be supporting Dementia Walking Football, in association with Albion Foundation, Sandwell Council, health sandwell and Age UK! 💙

Our sessions provide a friendly, welcoming and inclusive environment where people living with dementia, their families and carers can come together, stay active, make new friends and enjoy the beautiful game. ⚽🤝

Walking football is about so much more than football — it’s about improving wellbeing, building confidence, reducing social isolation and creating a sense of belonging. 💙

Together, we’re helping to make a positive difference in our community, one step and one goal at a time! 🙌⚽

Today we’re welcoming kids camp and for the second year running- incredibly talented young girls from across the country, selected to take part in an England Talent ID day in partnership with Girlz2Goalz🌟 We’re excited to see their skills, confidence and passion for the game.
