Pink Buddies A breast cancer support group run by breast cancer survivors We welcome new members.

Pink Buddies were originally brought together in 2005 by Tracy Philip, who was the Breast Care Nurse at London Bridge Hospital at the time. We are a group of women, all of whom were treated at London Bridge for Breast Cancer, and are now under the guidance of the London Bridge Breast Care team. Pink Buddies are women of all ages, who can offer support, not just to each other, but also to those wom

en who are currently going through treatment for this dreadful illness. Among our activities are regular social evenings with speakers, and fundraising events for breast cancer charities including an annual lunch or ball which to date have raised almost £100,000 for various charities. Our common goal is demonstrated by our theme - inspiration and information - and more importantly we are SURVIVORS!! We are here to show that this disease can be beaten, that beauty comes in many shapes and sizes, and that "normal" is whatever you want it to be.

The pennies have been counted and we are delighted to announce that the Pink Buddies have raised £9,500 for CoppaFeel! following their amazing Cop A Feast on Friday 17th October. MANY thanks to many people for their donations, which helped bring so much money in!!

Special thanks to Lorna Villiers-Jones for her hosting and auctioneer skills, both for this event and all the previous fundraisers, and Claire Day (Elaine!) for her tireless work helping bring the evening together, and also for arranging the Pink Buddies supporting evenings and coffee mornings for many years.

The Pink Buddies have been a support group since 2005 & have been hosting fundraisers since 2009, raising to date an amazing total of £133,000!!!

Truly a fantastic result and massive thanks to everyone who attended or bought raffle tickets, or donated to our Just Giving Page (still open for donations) - every little counts!!

Once a month, we bring to you a Saturday opening – perfect if you can’t make it during the week or just want more options to come along and get involved.

For those touched by breast cancer, you can join a range of workshops and classes, including:

💻 Plus online options too where you can join from anywhere!

It’s a chance to connect and make time for you at the weekend.
