Pink Buddies were originally brought together in 2005 by Tracy Philip, who was the Breast Care Nurse at London Bridge Hospital at the time. We are a group of women, all of whom were treated at London Bridge for Breast Cancer, and are now under the guidance of the London Bridge Breast Care team. Pink Buddies are women of all ages, who can offer support, not just to each other, but also to those wom
en who are currently going through treatment for this dreadful illness. Among our activities are regular social evenings with speakers, and fundraising events for breast cancer charities including an annual lunch or ball which to date have raised almost £100,000 for various charities. Our common goal is demonstrated by our theme - inspiration and information - and more importantly we are SURVIVORS!! We are here to show that this disease can be beaten, that beauty comes in many shapes and sizes, and that "normal" is whatever you want it to be.
