We're on our way North to the Scottish Skipper Expo - and we're asking the locals if we should hold a F-REP in Northeast Scotland.

Our F-REPs are three day events designed to get people from the fishing industry, science and fisheries management to understand each otherโ€™s expertise and work together effectively.

Got any thoughts ๐Ÿ’ญ find us at the Expo - we will be wandering about and would love to chat - or, fill out a short form for us and let us know what you think ๐Ÿ‘‰ https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfXZ9U_fNKA3eTH6Hd_IG7yO4eDbPUbWpADN2yagNW-1Pqmkg/viewform?pli=1

This week, we are reading up on the latest EFRA Committee report "Resetting the Relationship with Fishing Communities"

The recommendation that people working for government and people running fishing boats should meet regularly in-person - as is the norm on farms - really resonates! The need for genuine, in-person connections is a hot topic across every F-REP's we run! It is such a valuable way to build trust and a better understanding.

We recommend you take a look too ๐Ÿ”—๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ‘€

The EFRA Committee today publishes its report, โ€˜Resetting the relationship with fishing communitiesโ€™, outlining how the Government can help the UK fishing industry thrive after a number of unforced errors.
