The Sheffield 10K is just one month away! 🏃‍➡

Thinking about taking on the challenge this year? Why not run for Sheffield Futures and help support young people across the city?

We have a small number of charity places available, with a minimum fundraising target of £100.

Whether you’re an experienced runner or taking on your first 10K, it’s a brilliant opportunity to challenge yourself while making a real difference. 💙

Our Half Marathon runners smashed their fundraising target earlier this year, and we’d love to welcome more fundraisers to Team Sheffield Futures!

We’ve had more volunteers than ever offer to support our runners this year and we’re just three volunteers away from having our very own Sheffield Futures cheer station along the route!

Not a runner? You can still be part of Team Sheffield Futures. A few hours of cheering, encouraging and celebrating our runners could make all the difference on race day. 💙

Charity places are available on a first come, first served basis.

Free employability support for young people aged 16-25 💼💬

Our Thriving Futures Employability Drop-Ins offer free, friendly support for young people aged 16-25 who are not currently in education, employment or training (NEET).

Starting Wednesday 2nd September, our employability coaches will be available every Wednesday from 1pm-3.30pm to help young people explore their options and take their next steps.

Support can include:
💼 Exploring education, training and employment pathways
📝 Creating or improving a CV
🔎 Finding jobs, apprenticeships and training opportunities
🎯 Identifying goals and next steps
💬 Preparing for applications and interviews
💪 Building confidence and employability skills
👷‍♀Exploring career options
🤝 Identifying and overcoming barriers to employment

If you’re a parent, carer, professional or someone who supports young people, please share this with anyone who may benefit.

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Community Day! 💙

It was brilliant to see so many people come together and turn Star House into such a lively and vibrant space 🎉

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to all our wonderful sponsors, stallholders, community organisations, workshop facilitators and performers for helping to make the day so special, and to our fantastic staff team for all their hard work 🙌
