🌹 Join us tomorrow at Octavia Hill's Red Cross Garden for a special community celebration marking 20 years since the garden's restoration.

Enjoy an afternoon of maypole dancing, live music, family crafts, refreshments, Victorian themed activities and heritage displays in one of Southwark's most historic green spaces.

The event celebrates the legacy of Octavia Hill and F***y Wilkinson, whose vision helped create this remarkable garden more than 130 years ago.

"I applied because I’m committed to a career in horticulture. Volunteering has shown me how much I enjoy practical gardening and caring for green spaces. It was a great chance to learn from professionals and meet people who share same interests.

I gained theoretical knowledge and practical skills from the course, moreover I have a better understanding how the industry works. I feel more confident after CV workshop educational trips, industry talks, work experience and constant support from the curators and now I have been offered a job!"

Families are warmly invited to join us for a free, fun-filled afternoon celebrating Earth Day and Easter.
