New reporting from The Guardian , developed with evidence and case studies gathered by Carers UK reveals that unpaid carers have been unable to stop Carer’s Allowance payments despite informing the DWP of a change in circumstance meaning that they are no longer eligible for the benefit – leaving an ever-growing worry of potential debt hanging over them.
