On Friday 18 September, schools, colleges, universities, workplaces, charities and communities across the UK will come together for stem4’s Youth Mental Health Day 2026.

This year’s theme is .

For many young people, the future can feel exciting, uncertain and sometimes overwhelming. Whether it’s exams, careers, friendships, finances or simply figuring out who you want to be, thinking about the future can bring both hope and pressure.

Build Future You is about helping young people recognise that they don’t have to have everything figured out. Small, positive steps taken today can help build confidence, resilience and a healthier future.

Throughout the campaign, we’ll be sharing practical resources, activities and evidence-based mental health support to help young people:
💜 Build confidence in themselves
💜 Develop healthy coping strategies
💜 Celebrate their strengths
💜 Think positively about their future
💜 Know where to find support when they need it

Whether you’re a young person, parent, teacher, university, employer or organisation, there’s a way for you to get involved.
