In an era of AI disruption, economic uncertainty and shifting industries, many professionals are asking the wrong question.

It’s not: 'How do I protect my job?'
It’s: 'How do I build a career that evolves with change?'

In this new blog from the Network for Black Women Leaders, we explore some key shifts shared by Vanessa Kingori OBE about what it really means to be futureproof.

From developing adaptable skills and intellectual curiosity to cultivating visibility, confidence and strategic relationships.

Black women are often celebrated for our strength.

But strength without boundaries becomes exhaustion.

In our next Network for Black Women Leaders Elevate Session, Self-Love & Mental Fitness Coach Ebi Diete-Spiff invites us into a powerful conversation about self-worth, belonging and sustainable leadership.

With host, Jaiye Elias, together we’ll explore how to:
• Rewrite limiting beliefs that erode confidence.
• Set boundaries without guilt.
• Protect your energy without shrinking your impact.
• Lead from truth, not obligation.

Leadership does not require self-sacrifice.

It requires clarity, aligned boundaries and deep self-regard.

If you’ve been feeling stretched, over-responsible, or quietly depleted, this space is for you.

You are not behind.

You are becoming.

In our recent Network for Black Women Leaders Elevate Session, Mindset & Clarity Coach Ngozi Jason-Nwadinobi shared a powerful reframe on reinvention: you don’t need to start over to start differently.

Drawing on her journey of rebuilding a life and career after relocating to the UK, Ngozi explores mindset, resilience and why transition is often growth asking for honesty.

If you’re navigating a career shift, identity change or a season of uncertainty, this piece will resonate with where you are emotionally.

🪙 What exactly are Dormant Assets and who really decides where this money goes? 🪙

Dormant assets are money sitting in bank accounts, investments, pensions or insurance policies that haven’t been used for years.

While the money does go to certain social causes that are chosen through consultation, funding for women and girls did not make the list.

The Women's Forever Fund is the perfect vehicle to use these dormant assets to fund women's community-based organisations, support survivors and rebuild lives.

Ascent Training - Staff Wellbeing

Taking staff wellbeing seriously is an important element of ensuring a healthy work culture, staff satisfaction, high quality work and staff retention. A one-size fits all approach to wellbeing does not exist, which is why reflection – both individual and in group – is key in shaping an environment in which we can thrive.

This training is open to anyone from any sector, who are interested in learning more about staff wellbeing.

This year's International Women’s Day theme; reminds us that generosity is powerful.

When we give women the resources, education, and support they need today, they gain access to safety, leadership, economic security and voice. And when women thrive, we all rise.

The Women's Forever Fund is about long-term impact, ensuring women’s organisations have the stability they need not just to survive, but to lead, innovate and transform lives for generations to come.

Continuing our countdown to International Women’s Day, .org.uk are proud to spotlight the powerful voices supporting the Women’s Forever Fund.

Today we’re featuring Esuantsiwa Jane Goldsmith; a writer, feminist activist and development consultant of British–Ghanaian heritage whose work spans more than five decades of solidarity and storytelling.

As the first minority ethnic woman to chair the Fawcett Society, and through her work supporting voluntary organisations nationally and internationally, Esua has long championed the strength and sustainability of the women’s sector.

Her lifelong commitment reflects exactly what the Women’s Forever Fund stands for: long-term investment in women’s organisations so they can lead, innovate and transform lives for generations to come.

reminds us that generosity is powerful.
When individuals, organisations and communities give intentionally, women gain access to safety, leadership, economic security and voice. And when women thrive, we all rise.

Esua’s memoir; The Space Between Black and White is available to buy in the WRC shop!

Today we amplify the voice of Jess Phillips MP, Minister for Safeguarding and Violence Against Women and Girls.

"The scale of violence against women and girls in our country has been prevalent for far too long"

This is a national emergency.

The Forever Fund will ensure that women’s organisations have the stability they need not to lead, innovate and transform lives for generations to come.

As we count down to International Women’s Day 2026, .org.uk are proud to spotlight the powerful voices behind the Women’s Forever Fund.

We’re starting with Vivienne Hayes, CEO of the Women’s Resource Centre, OBE; a tireless advocate for women’s organisations across the UK.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is 'Give to Gain'...

The Women’s Forever Fund embodies this spirit of abundant giving.
By investing sustainably in women’s organisations, we’re not subtracting from resources, we’re multiplying opportunity.
Every contribution strengthens the women’s sector, builds resilience, and creates lasting change.
