📊 Behind these statistics are women and girls who need support, safety and someone to turn to...

Women's organisations provide life-changing services for survivors of violence, but many are facing increasing demand with limited resources.

The Women’s Forever Fund exists to help secure the long-term future of these vital organisations, so they can continue to support women and girls when they need it most 💫

Because every woman and girl deserves to be heard, believed and supported.

Did you know?

❤️‍🩹 In the UK nearly 2 million single parents are raising dependent children
🏡 43% of children in single-parent families live in poverty
🍽 13% of single parents have relied on food banks in the last year
💪🏽 89% are single mothers

While two-thirds of single parents are in work, too many families are still being pushed into hardship.

Single mothers deserve economic security, fair opportunities, and a social security system that works 💫

The Government's renewed Women’s Health Strategy acknowledges a hard truth: systems have failed women, and funding shapes outcomes.

If we recognise that underinvestment creates inequality in healthcare, why are women’s organisations still expected to tackle violence, poverty and mental health crises with insecure, short-term funding?

It’s time to fund women’s organisations like it matters 💫

"Long-term funding would be transformational for these much-needed women's services."

Thank you to Jess Asato MP for supporting the launch of the Women's Forever Fund 💫

Women's organisations are essential, but they remain chronically underfunded. By building a permanent endowment for the sector, we can help secure the future of life-changing services for women across the UK.

Women are disproportionately affected by financial hardship in the UK.

Among women in financial vulnerability:
💷 50% have less than £500 in savings
💷 26% have no savings at all
💷 67% are living with some form of debt

These figures reflect a wider pattern of inequality.

Analysis by the Women's Budget Group shows a persistent gender wealth gap, with men holding significantly more wealth than women, reflecting long-standing inequalities in income, assets and inheritance.

That’s why the Women’s Forever Fund matters. Until the structural barriers driving economic inequality are addressed, financial security will remain out of reach for too many women 💫

Over £1 billion in dormant assets has already been released for social good in the UK, but women and girls are still not one of the named causes...

The Government has committed to halving violence against women and girls, so it's time to ask: why aren't women's organisations receiving a share of this funding? 💰

Dormant assets already exist. They should help secure a sustainable future for the organisations supporting women and girls every day.

"A meaningful investment in women's empowerment..."

Thank you to Baroness Shaista Gohir, OBE for lending her voice to the Women's Forever Fund and speaking at our Westminster launch.
Her support reinforces why sustainable, long-term funding for women's organisations is so vital.

Together, we can build a stronger future for the women's sector 💫

3,000 offences. Every day.

This isn't just a statistic, it's a reminder of why women's organisations are needed now more than ever.

Violence against women and girls remains a national crisis.

The Women's Forever Fund is building lasting support for the organisations working to create change.

📢 Have your say!

Many women's organisations have been waiting for the EHRC's Code of Practice before reviewing their policies.

We want to understand where organisations are now and what support may be needed next 💜

We've extended the deadline on our 2-minute survey...

Please submit one response per women's sector organisation only.

We've spent the past year listening to women's organisations across England, and we're excited to share two new interim CEDAW engagement reports.

The reports bring together the challenges, priorities and ideas raised, highlighting both the issues shared across the sector and the unique perspectives from different communities 💜

This is an important milestone, but the conversation isn't over. More opportunities to contribute are coming soon.
