Supporting Sexuality After Acquired Brain Injury

This new self-access class explores the impact of acquired brain injury on sexuality, relationships, and wellbeing, equipping therapists with evidence-based knowledge and practical approaches to support individuals and couples.

Led by consultant clinical neuropsychologist and couples therapist Dr Giles Yeates, the class examines the neurological, psychological, relational, and social factors that can influence sexuality following brain injury. Participants will gain practical insights into adapting psychosexual and relationship therapy practice, understand legal and mental capacity considerations, and explore opportunities for collaborative working with neuro-rehabilitation professionals.

We are delighted to announce a new live training event with Dr Angela Wright, exploring the growing evidence linking hormone sensitivity, neurodivergence, chronic health conditions, and psychological wellbeing.
