Cranstoun is looking for 2 motivated Violence Prevention Practitioners to join our specialist Domestic Abuse Team and deliver behaviour change interventions across Southend, Essex & Thurrock (SET).

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference by working directly with people who perpetrate abusive behaviours, supporting them to recognise, understand and change their behaviour.

💜 About the role
Working as part of our SET team, you will:

Deliver specialist behaviour change interventions through group and 1-to-1 work.
Work alongside colleagues supporting victim-survivors and children/young people affected by domestic abuse.
Develop effective relationships with partner agencies and contribute to multi-agency working.
Engage with communities and local partners to raise awareness and challenge attitudes that allow domestic abuse to continue.
Use your skills and experience to support meaningful, sustainable behaviour change.
👥 Who are we looking for?
We’re interested in hearing from practitioners who have:

Experience working within the domestic abuse sector, or a related field with transferable skills.
Experience delivering behaviour change programmes, groups and/or 1-to-1 interventions.
Experience in comparable settings such as mental health would be valuable.
An understanding of effective multi-agency working.
The motivation, resilience and commitment to work with people who use abusive behaviours and contribute to safer communities.
Most importantly, we’re looking for people who believe change is possible and who want to play a meaningful role in preventing domestic abuse.
