“As volunteers, we are supporting young people and their parents in our community with problems they are experiencing. We now have the tools to support, respond, and refer them for further mental health support,” says a mental health volunteer in Lima, Peru.

With the support of CPL Aromas, our partner Caritas Chosica is working alongside vulnerable urban communities with a focus on young people and women to improve emotional wellbeing by providing safe spaces, basic counselling and listening support.

An El Niño climate pattern has begun and is expected to be very strong later in the year. It will likely bring extreme weather, severe droughts and destructive floods to many of the countries where we work

For our Harvest Appeal, we featured Tayla and her community who have past experience of drought.

We worked with our Church partner Caritas Chinhoyi and the local community to build a solar-powered water pump and pipes to ensure access to safe water, even in dry periods.
