Centre for Young Musicians A Saturday music centre for 5-18 year olds. Part of Guildhall Young Artists (GYA)

Guildhall Young Artists is Guildhall School’s network of centres across the country, providing inspiring performing arts training for children and young people. Centre for Young Musicians provides high-quality progressive music training, with a range of performance opportunities for more than four-hundred 5–18 year-olds on Saturdays during term time.

Applications for the Centre for Young Musicians (CYM) close this Monday — don’t miss out!

Are you (or a young musician you know) looking for a place to make music, meet new friends, and grow your skills every weekend? CYM could be the perfect fit.

🎵 What is CYM?
Based at Morley College London (near Waterloo), CYM brings together young musicians of all ages and abilities every Saturday during term time.

Students:
✨ Work with top industry professionals
🎹 Explore all kinds of music — from classical to jazz, pop, and beyond
🎤 Build confidence and creativity in a fun, supportive environment

📅 Key info:
• Applications close Monday 2 March 2026
• Auditions take place in spring
• New students start in September

There’s no cost to audition, and means-tested bursaries are available 💫

Visit music classes and rehearsals, meet tutors, discover our facilities and ask questions to staff, parents and students.
Open days will be relaxed and informal, with all students invited to bring a family member or carer with them.
